On Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary, the School of Public Health at AIIMS Jodhpur, in collaboration with the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease and the District Tobacco Control Cell, celebrated the 26^th National Youth Day on January 12, 2023. Prior to the Youth Day, a sensitization talk was delivered to Bhawani Adarsh Vidhya Mandir School students targeting the classes IX to XII, to demotivate and prevent youth from consuming tobacco and smoking. It was a reinforcement in continuation of the previous series of activities in the school to promote health amongst school students.

Simultaneously, an interschool poster-making competition was organized on the theme: “Youth: Messengers of Tobacco Cessation”. 27 entries were received from various schools and trophies with e-certificates were given to the participants. Trophies for first position was awarded Khush Raj of Bhawani Adarsh Vidhya Mandir School, for second position to Urmila Paliwal of Bhawani Adarsh Vidhya Mandir School, and for third position to Dimple Panwar of R.K. Public Senior Secondary School. Besides, E-certificates were awarded to first position holders from every participating school and e-certificates for participation was awarded to every child for participation.

The activity was followed by print media and social media coverages for a wider dissemination and spread of the message.
